Our Technicians:

John Higley, Jr.
John is the owner of the company. He has been in the industry since 1972, when he started working with his father, John Higley, Sr. John took over the company and named it John Jr’s Termite and Pest Control in October of 2008. He says that his favorite part of the job is getting to meet and interact with customers, making sure to provide outstanding customer service. Something you may not know about John is that he used to be a gymnast.

Ethan Lopez
Ethan is our tech in training. He is John’s grandson, making him the 4th generation of the family in the business. Fun fact about Ethan is he is a 3rd year culinary student.

John specializes in inspections, and answering all of the questions we have. He has been in the industry since 1972, when he opened the company, under the name “John’s Termite and Pest Control”. He has worked here since day 1, and has watched the company grow. He says his favorite part of the job is going out and being able to interact with our customers, both new customers and customers who have been here since the beginning. When John was young he attended (and got kicked out of) boarding school.

Melanie Higley
Melanie is the office manager. She has been around the company since childhood, but came to work in the office in 2008. She now specializes in marketing. She says her favorite part of the job is being able to go out and meet new people, sharing info about the company with them. On a personal note, one of her previous jobs was at Disneyland.

Andrea Deane
Andrea is our office assistant. She has been with us off and on since 2015. She is the first contact for our customers. Her favorite part of her job is talking to customers and helping them in any way she can. A fun fact about Andrea is she knows more facts about the Titanic than most Titanic experts. Next time you talk to her, ask her how many portholes the Titanic had.
